Michael Bay Got His Start Directing Music Videos For Meat Loaf -

go here now Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That)" video.' style='float:left;padding:5px' />

His first job with the rock singer was on his unforgettable Id Do Anything for Love (But I Wont Do That) , and no expense (or storyline detail) was spared for the project. The budget is said to have been over $4 million, though that cant be corroborated completely. Complete with helicopters, an incredible locale (the indoor shots were filmed at Greystone Mansion , one of Beverly Hills most-beloved homes for movies), makeup that took two hours per application, and every talent available at the time (the cinematographer had previously worked on The Texas Chainsaw Massacre), it really was a massive production, and after the Beauty and the Best/Phantom of the Opera-based story was well received, the two would work together again. After Id Do Anything, Bay and Meat Loaf would collaborate on videos for Objects in the Rear View Mirror May Appear Closer than They Are and Rock and Roll Dreams Come Through (which featured a young Angelina Jolie) off the singers following album. Those two were also event-style videos, quickly joining the list of fan favorites. By that time, Meat Loaf had crafted an image and become known for his extravagant visuals, but the success of his singles no longer matched with massive budgets, and after one more CD, hed take a break from releasing new music for several years.
Source:
