In honor of her chart-topping success and country-pop domination, she will be honored with the Pinnacle Award, the Country Music Association announced on Monday (Nov. 4). Due to her worldwide success in the field of country music, Swift has exposed the genre to a far-reaching audience, as evidenced by her sold-out Red Tour. The CMA Awards will go live from Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday, Nov. 6, and will feature a special performance by Swift, featuring Alison Krauss and Vince Gill, on her Top 10 hit "Red." Lifted from her multi-platinum album of the same name, the track serves as the star's third single release, following the success of "Begin Again" and "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together."
